Sidewalk Scooters
This year at Interbike it was the year for disc brakes and scooters. There
were hundreds of scooters from the low-cost Walmart variety to the top-of-the-line
scooters complete with disc brakes, pneumatic knobby tires, and full suspension.
Today every kid and his brother wants one, but will this craze last?

| The winner for the best scooter at Interbike was manufactured
by Cito and was tucked away in the Magura booth. This was the mother of
all scooters complete with custom twin Magura disc brakes, wide rubber tires,
1.5 inches of suspension travel. Unfortunately these are not planned to
be sold in the US and the price was not known. |

Kikit manufacturing a
scooter with pneumatic street tires. These high pressure tires roll faster
and are able to handle larger obstacles than the standard wheels on most
other scooters. |

| Sun Scooter had two scooters
displayed at Interbike. Their standard version came with a backpack that
packed the scooter away when it was not in use. |
