The Biomega bicycles are furniture for locomotion - designed for urban
mobility. In cooperation with Toby Louis-Jensen the Biomega inhouse design
department have designed the Nimbus and the Copenhagen bikes.
The MN01 is fabricated, using super plastic aluminum. Biomega pioneered
this first-of-a-kind application for the cycling industry. It had a superb
quality from its birth: It was tested & certified by EFBe & the
Danish Technological Institute. Rohloff's internal 14-gear speed hub sets
new standards. This year Pace delivers a light and stiff carbon fork for
the MN01. Hope's hydraulic disc brake system ensures the ultimate in responsive
braking safety. The MN01 and MN02 are designed by Australian design guru
Marc Newson.

The
Copenhagen is the world's only high-end bike with a cardanic shaft. For
2001 it is much lighter and made entirely of aluminum. The saddle is now
in leather, the clip-on pedals are provided by Mikishima & the disc
brake by Avid. The transmission has been optimized and is contained to
ease maintenance. The internal shaft design helps keep the grease off
your clothes. The frame glows in the dark - a photo luminescent colour
that provides a beautiful and traffic safe glow in the dark.
