The Crank Brothers Micra-17 combines an aluminum frame with the seventeen common tools needed for road and trailside repair; 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 mm hex wrenches, Philip's and flathead screwdrivers, chainbreaker, 4 sizes of spoke wrenches, 8 and 10mm open wrenches, and a Torx T25 (for disc brakes).

The Micra-17 is both ultra light at 170 grams, and actually easy to use. The chainbreaker is made of stainless steel and the rest of the tools are made from high quality 6050 steel.

The Egg Beater is a 4-sided pedal. The brass cleat fits in all SPDcompatible shoes. A special cleat for road shoes is in the works. The pedal has 6 degress of rotational float. With only 12 parts (3 of which are Orings) the Egg Beaters have significantly fewer parts than any other pedal.

The open design sheds mud easily. The stack height is lower than almost all other road and mountain pedals. The spring tension is not adjustble and is set at a medium setting.
