This product works excellent. Shifts can now be while braking or descending technical trails. The indexing is perfectly on the spot. The action is light and quick either one gear at a time or across the whole cassette.

The shifter has a longer 80mm grip area ensures faster shifting, quicker braking and optimal bike control. Many riders recommend trimming the grip 20mm shorter for cross country use. The gear indicators are clear and easy to see exactly which gear you are in.

The SRAM 9.0SL half pipe rear shifter and short cage rear derailleur were developed and ridden by the pros in 1998 and are now available to everyone. Aftermarket availability coincides with the introduction of these products on the World Cup and NORBA circuit. This system was recently ridden to victory at the SRAM Sea Otter Classic.

Shimano now has some serious competition. Available in 8 or 9-Speed versions.
